Map searches are typically done when a user tries to find a product, service or business type in their area, so it’s important that you show up in the results if you want to get potential customers in your door.
The SyCara Local Map Rank table provides you with the data you need to understand how visible your business location is in search engines and how likely it is that a potential customer will find your Google+ Local page.
At the bottom of the Map Rank page, you will find a table which contains the meat and potatoes that power the Map View, the Page-By-Page analysis and the Performance Trends graph. In the table, you can view averaged data for each keyword. By expanding the keyword, you can view the specific keyword searches tracked across different search locations.

Keyword
All of the data in this column is an average of the keyword searches performed across different search locations.
Rank
This column displays your position in the results of Google Maps. In the example above you’ll see that “apple retail” has achieved an average ranking of 21. Because the 21st is on the 3rd page of the search results, a “Page 3” icon is shown next to the number 22. This is done to ensure the user has a correct understanding of his or her business location in search engine result pages.
Change
All marketers are interested in understanding the current visibility of their website or business, but we’re also interested in trends. The “Change” column allows you to see the difference between the two most recent ranking reports. If your business is more visible (i.e. improved rankings), the change will be displayed with the color green. If your business is less visible, the change will be displayed with the color red.
Searches
In order to understand how a given keyword ranking may be affecting your site traffic, it is important to understand how often a user actually uses that keyword in a search. The “Searches” column provides monthly exact match search volume via the Google Adwords API. In the report settings you have the option to select either Global search volume (the whole world) or Local search volume (just the United States).

Reviews and Images
Directly or indirectly, it is commonly accepted that — all things equal — a more complete listing will rank higher than an incomplete one. It is important to make sure that your populated your listings with correct information, photos, categories, business hours and other relevant data.
